Taiwan conducted military exercises that included test-firing a US-supplied missile launcher directed toward China. The drills simulated defending against an amphibious invasion force along the coast.
The exercises took place in Taichung and involved simulations of destroying an invading Chinese force. Taiwan plans to enhance its naval firepower with more than 1,200 Sea Sword II missiles as part of its defense preparations.
