The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee announced Wednesday it is adding 12 Republican-held seats to its midterm target list, including districts won handily by President Trump in 2024. The new additions bring the DCCC's total target list to 58 seats as Democrats position themselves for the November elections.

Among the newly targeted seats are those held by Rep. Lauren Boebert of Colorado and Rep. Richard Hudson of North Carolina, who chairs the National Republican Congressional Committee. DCCC chair Suzan DelBene said House Democrats are expanding the battlefield deep into Trump terrain, signaling confidence in competing across traditionally Republican territory.
