Backrooms has surpassed $200 million in global ticket sales, making it A24's highest-grossing worldwide release. The horror film, directed by YouTuber Kane Parsons, has earned $212 million globally, including $135 million in North America.
The film's performance overtakes the previous studio record holder, Marty Supreme, which starred Timothée Chalamet and earned $191 million in its theatrical run. Backrooms marks the first time an A24 release has crossed the $200 million threshold.
