Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London agreed to a four-year contract extension worth $141 million, his agent announced. The deal keeps the 24-year-old with the franchise through the 2030 season and makes him one of the highest-paid receivers in the NFL.

London was selected eighth overall by the Falcons in the 2022 NFL Draft out of USC. Over his first four seasons with Atlanta, he established himself as the team's primary receiving target, recording consecutive 1,000-yard seasons in 2024 and 2025. His production increased notably after the Falcons hired offensive coordinator Dave Ragone in 2024, with London averaging 95 receptions and 1,150 yards over the past two seasons.

The extension comes as NFL teams continue to invest heavily in elite wide receiver talent. London's average annual value of $35.25 million places him among the top five highest-paid receivers in the league, though still below the record $36 million per year that Minnesota's Justin Jefferson received in his 2024 extension. The Falcons structured the deal to maintain flexibility under the salary cap while securing their offensive centerpiece for the next four years.

Atlanta general manager Terry Fontenot had identified keeping London as a top priority entering the 2026 offseason. The team had until July 15 to reach an agreement before London would have played the 2026 season under his fifth-year option, which was worth $21.8 million. By completing the extension now, the Falcons avoided the uncertainty of potentially losing London to free agency after the upcoming season.

The signing provides stability for Atlanta's offense as the team looks to build around quarterback Desmond Ridder, who is entering his fifth season. London joins tight end Kyle Pitts, who signed his own extension in January, as cornerstones of the Falcons' passing attack. The team finished 10-7 last season and qualified for the playoffs as a wild card, their first postseason appearance since 2021.
