Beetlejuice the musical is running June 2 through June 7 at the Kravis Center's Alexander W. Dreyfoos Concert Hall in West Palm Beach. Actor Ryan Stajmiger plays the mischievous demon in the striped suit. The Broadway show follows Lydia Deetz, a teen whose life changes after meeting two deceased neighbors and a demon. Stajmiger says his favorite part is breaking the fourth wall to communicate directly with the audience. Early in the run, a wig change went wrong and he performed an entire scene bald, turning the mishap into a moment to share with the audience.
Performances are 7:30 p.m. on June 3 and 4, 8 p.m. on June 5, matinee and evening on June 6, and a closing matinee on June 7. Tickets start at $34.50 at kravis.org. The show is recommended for ages 13 and up with parental discretion advised.
